first catch a couple venomous ducks
throw down a fishing line with bacon on it
the ducks will eat the bacon and pass it along with the string to the next one who will do the same
then when the pig comes to eat the ducks he will get tangled in the line and the ducks will bite him to death

A lot of people are using hog traps to capture the hogs then they take them and feed them out for about a month and have them butchered. Hogs have become a serious problem in many areas of Texas and are regarded as a nuisance as opposed to a game animal. They are fun to hunt on horseback with a pack of dogs.

I've seen loads of hogs caught in (surprise) traps. They're the kind of traps that are used to catch racoons, only about 40 times bigger. You know, a hog walks in to eat some corn and steps on a sheet of metal, causing the pin that holds the gate open to come out and slams shut on the hog. Voila, sausage for all.

Hand-to-Hoof combat! When I lived in Hawaii I was at a nature park and there was a wild boar, it was crazy. I was about 1/2 a mile from my car, with all my camera gear, and this thing starts charging me! LOL! All of the sudden a park ranger zooms up on his little buggy, tells me to jump in and we took off! He had apparently been trying to kill it, in the process her shot and wounded it, just enought to really make is mad. That is when it found me! I can laugh now, but at the time I think I peed my pants!

wild hog meat-pork- isn,t worth the bullet you expend to kill the hog unless the hog is a young pig and that,s no guarantee. instant field dressing is a must though. if they are troublesome shoot them and let the buzzards eat them

use full metal jacket rounds ,high velocity and preferably 30 caliber and bigger; they will try to attack you if wounded; they are smart and vicious protecting their young; bon apetit!
