The only thing you can do, talk to them and tell them that is not want you ment at all, and explain what you did mean. Then becareful with your words in the future so you don't make that mistake again. As always we learn from our mistakes

Explain to them what you meant when you said it. However, somethings once said is always seen as break up words.
1) Let's see other people.
2) I need some space.
3) I hate you get the hell out my face.

If you said it in person, you need to sit down with them and explain what you really meant. If in another form of conversation, you REALLY need to sit down with them in person. Talking on the phone, texting, or e-mailing to resolve a problem started by the way you sent it in the first place doesn't help much. GOOD LUCK!!

I would just tell that person that you didn't mean it like that and you don't want to break up (unless you really do). basically, just sit down and tell them the truth.
