its been a week it will be okay and you can use soap on it to trust me tattoos are okay after a week!

The day I got my tattoo, I didn't shower, however it is on the top of my back. Just keep the tattoo'd area out of the water. When tattoo's get wet, especially after they have scabbed, the scabs get thicker. You want thin scabs.
Also, don't put any salves like aloe, neosporin, tattoo goo or any other kind of junk like that. If your tattoo feel dry, which it probably will at some point, put a bit of fragernce and dye free Curel on it. Use sparingly.

You can shower the day of your tattoo, there is no waiting period, and you don't have to cover it in the shower. Don't loofah it or anything like that, but wash it with antibacterial soap, until it doesn't feel slimy any more. Pat it dry with a clean towel, let it air dry a bit, and put alcohol free lotion on it. Seriously, it will do better if you keep it clean and let it breathe.

Hell yeah you can! you really should have takin your shower about the same day you got it or the very next day! just don't scrub it just rub it with your hand and the suds from the soap! After you get out take a paper towel and pat it dry then put some A&D ointment on it and you will be fine!

your supposed to shower a couple of hours after you get the tattoo so that way you clean it and it doesnt get infected....so yes go ahead and shower lol....and the best brand of lotion to use on your tatt is either Curel, Keri, or my favorite was Aveeno....but make sure that its just unscented just plain ol' white lotion....you dont want anything special to irritate your skin!!! :]

you can take a shower the same day you get your new ink, as long as it is well salved up and covered with a waterproof overlay..
so yes, go ahead and shower away...if it is showing signs that it is healed and any scabbing is minimized, go ahead and uncover it and wash it just like the rst of your body..
I have 5 tats, and they each healed differently, time wise...

dude you could have taken a shower the day u got the dang thing getting it wet isn't going to do anything but help it heal it needs moisture to heal....

i would make sure the tattoo is well covered if its still 'scabbing' but if its well on the road to healing i would just put some vasaline or simular on it and grab a shower.

its cool...just make it quick and dont soap up the arm or let the water run straight on it. use a good scentless lotion when you get out too..GL
