: Tourism has been declared as an industry in many countries of the world and it is an important pillar of economy in many countries like Switzerland, France, Turkey, Austria, Maldives etc. Pakistan has got every thing that can attract millions of tourists around the world. Unfortunately, we are not receiving considerable number of visitors since we have not marketed the image of Pakistan as one of the best tourist resort on the earth.

We went to Pakistan many years ago for a friend's wedding in Lahore, and we have fond memories of that. Back then most tourists didn't go to "the corners of the world". Today more tourists are into travel to new and different destinations, but I'm afraid most tourists view Pakistan as a little dangerous in light of all the news coverage we see about the whole region.... they never hear about the historic sites, the beautiful mosques and gardens, the fascinating markets and the mountains. Tourists want to know that they will be reasonably safe; that they can find a hotel they will be comfortable in and have an idea what the food will be like; and see pictures of all those beautiful spots and not so many photos of protests which look scary sometimes. Maybe you could become a writer and tell people about Pakistan! Set up a web site about it.
