The flu usually starts with feeling weak, your muscles are all sore, weak, you have a headache. Your mouth can be dry, your throat hurts or is sore. Your mouth may be very sore, your nose may run.
These are all symptoms, not a specific disease because a flu, althought a seperate disease or virus, breaks the body down so many things can enter along with the flu.
There is no real "cure" but there is a type of control. Take lots of liquids so you don't dehydrate, it's O.K. if you can't eat. Stay in bed, lots of rest, don't try and go to work, visit, stay in bed or at least rest. You can take things that may help, for your throat like Thera-fly, over the counter drugs. If you think it's necessary and your that Ill, go see your doctor. He may give you something to ease your pains and a shot of anti-biotic.
People differ on being Ill for lengths of time. Some are down for fifteen days, some five to seven, it varies and there's the chance of a relapse so, be careful.

From the symptoms, it could be the flu, or any number of other things, including improper diet (not enough liquids would produce dry mouth and sore throat).
Each flu (influenza) presents differently and has different treatments, hence the new vaccine each year to prevent flu.
Your temperature should be elevated. Nausea is usually present (up to and incoming vomiting).
Common signs and symptoms of the flu include:
Fever over 101 F. Children with the flu tend to have higher fevers than adults have — often as high as 103 to 105 F.
Chills and sweats.
Headache.
Dry cough.
Muscular aches and pains, especially in your back, arms and legs.
Fatigue and weakness.
Nasal congestion.
Loss of appetite.
Diarrhea and vomiting. Although children may have these signs, diarrhea and vomiting are rare in adults.

Swine Flu symptoms are the same symptoms as the seasonal flu. Sneezing does not mean you have H1N1. Maybe you have allergies, or a cold coming on. Hope I helped.^^
