if it is not drug related, then you should be fine. Now, for admission to a grad/medical school, you will need to write a hella of a personal statement on how you turned your life around. Here is a FYI, there is this African American actor who went to jail, and then went to Yale. So, if he can do it, then you can do it too. I can't remember his name. But, I know he is chubby, and has a bald head. He guess starred on the show that fines missing people. Anyway, good luck.

Overall, I say work on not going to jail.

Okay, so what is this felony of which you speak? I don't believe that you can receive financial aid and frankly, if you were breaking the law, why should you receive financial aid when I can't???

And from a credentialing aspect (I work in a medical staff office)...even if you were to be accepted into med school with a felony, once you've completed all your training and such and begin applying for staff privileges at hospitals...good luck with that one once your background check is run!

In fact there is a question on the FAFSA that specifically asks if you were convicted of a felony. Do you homework no tax payer money to criminals.
