comfortable asking me questions...BUT WHEN SOMEONE IS BEING INTRUSIVE ON YOUR PERSONAL BUSINESS...what can you say to them?? should you be kind of forceful...or just neutral to let tell them..."OH, I DON'T TALK ABOUT THAT PAINFUL TIME...YOU UNDERSTAND"..what if the person says NO, I DON'T...just walk away???? what is best???

Just politely tell them that you would prefer not to talk about that and change the subject. If they still want to be intrusive, just smile and walk away.

I too am a nice person so can relate to this. I simply in a polite way tell them that I don't discuss certain things and do not say anymore. If they keep pushing to get into your business then they are not your friends. A real friend would respect your need for privacy.

This all starts when you open that mouth and leak out information. Some take kindness for weakness, so therefore you must be assertive with them....This is a learning experience, so just be careful who you want to know you personal info....

Like you I have always been the shoulder for people to cry on. But you must also look out for your own interests. If you tell someone that a topic is of limits they should listen to that. If they don't then they don't respect you.

Just tell them you do not wish to talk about it. If they want to know why, say because I don't. If they press it, tell them to mind their own business.

Just have to let them know your not cool with it up front. If you must be forceful but not too harsh.

just say that there are certain things that people shouldn't ask
other people,and if people see you are that way they will ask
diliberately,so becareful how much of youe buisness you exspose
to people
