Most of my friends are liberal and only half are religious. Yet I am both devoutly religious and conservative. It has never been a problem, though. We discuss our differences in a very polite and questioning way. We learn from each other. Even though I may not agree with them on issues, learning about why they believe the way they do helps me to understand them better. Understanding is a good thing. Since there is mutual respect none of us feels the need to convince the other that they are "wrong". We all want what's best and we are doing the best that we can. That's a lot to have in common.

Well, I think that you just have to come to terms with the fact that there are some issues that you may have to agree to disagree on. My friends don't have to see things the way I do for me to accept them and love them. Also try to stay open minded, I find I learn alot from listening to people with a different perspective, but the key to it is having an open mind. Don't miss out on great people just because they don't see things the way you do! Best wishes!

Don't judge people, it's that simple. Don't judge them because of their beliefs and they most likely will not judge you because of yours...

Just be yourself and please do not judge. Talk about things other than religion.
