she has been on medication....i am worryed as i am in dublin and only have contact thru the email and cant contact any other way and havent heard for past 2 wks....so if any one knows any details as i know nothing about malaria..thanks

hi if she is on medication and plenty of rest there is no reason why she shouldn't get well.i live in africa myself and have had malaria.by now she should be on the way to mending just getting over her weakness.the danger exists only if she cant get the right medication and take regularly.advice her to sleep under a treated net or to take anti-malarials before goin to tropical countries.

Once you know you have it you should get to the doctors n they will give you a curative dose of anti malarials, even if you just think you have it when you go to the doctors they will tend to treat you for it before they even get blood test results
