You can use your debit card in ATM machines to withdraw cash or top up mobile phone.
Depending on type of debit card you have you can use it in stores which accept card payments.
Depending on type of debit Card you can use it on the internet or over the telephone to purchase goods or services from retailers/suppliers who accept card payments.
Depending on type of debit card you can use it at Bearu de Change to buy foreign currency if travelling abroad.
Subscriptions to magazines etc.
Almost anything you can think of really.
If you have a Solo debit card these tend to be less accepted than a switch meastro card .

Most things these days, use it as you would a credit card but instead of you paying the money when your bill comes in the amount is taken directly from your bank account, so you need to make sure you have the money already in the bank before you buy. Saves you getting into debt!

You can use them for making purchases or withdrawing cash from cash machines! They are different to credit cards in that the money comes straight of your account, rather than having to settle the bill at the end of the month.

you can use it to buy anything in shops and on the net as long as you have the funds in the bank to pay for it as it is deducted immediatly you purchase any item. Hope this helps
