I am assuming that the Fusion sold in other parts of the world is the same Fusion sold here in the United States. If so then the Fusion has the record of being the most heavily recalled automobile in U.S. history. This according to several consumer magazines and internet auto sites. Ford has had had horrible problems with the Fusion relating to mechanics and it has cost them tons of money in the process. This said, I know quite a few people who like their's. Guess you should check research available where you are as to dependability, etc. and see which is better for you. My own beliefs are that I want to get the most "dependability" for the dollar, even at the expense of some style or sportiness, as once it is paid off I am the one that will have to foot the bill for repairs. Curious what other's experiences are with them.

Personally....having been a Ford driver (still have a Mustang by them), I'd go for another brand altogether.

Between the two, the Fusion is a nicer vehicle....but they're nothing compared to the brands being released by the English/German/Italian/Japanese.

In terms of automotive, the European and Asiatic models have beat up American cars for quite some time.
