Do most guys like slim legs on a girl or legs that are strong and buff?

I know this is a shallow question-- but all other factors (personality, etc) out of the picture... Is there actually a preference-- and WHY?

I cannot speak for all men, but being a leg man I feel I am qualified to speak for most. Its the shape...not the size that is admired. They can be from skinny to large , so long as there is symmetry in the shape. If they are bulky, too muscular or just straight, without symmetrical lines then they are considered plain.

Honey, I've seen my share of "pretty-legs," they weren't all "buff" nor "slim," either!
They only "accented" the rest of the "Pretty-Girl!"
It is so sad, how my Generation has "Failed" you children, by not telling you the simple "facts of life!" And that every Woman has a Beauty that is in Her "genetic-make up." I don't care how "buff" or "skinny" your legs are, if you don't use your TWO greatest attributes, you won't be able to carry yourself, muchless your "door-mat"(Husband) and his children! Those attributes that you have, are so simple, yet so strong, and they shine brighter than the sun, and thus, make you so desirable, that a man can't and won't live without you!!
They are called "Feminine Instincts & Maternal Traits!" With those in motion, you become so radiant and more Beautiful, not too mention "Priceless!"
Eventhough your Momma is older now; isn't She just as beautiful now, as She was in Her High-School pictures? I'd bet your Daddy thinks so!!
My Ol' Girl is still as beautiful today, as She was 28yrs. ago, when I first met Her! I still think of Her, as the day we first met; so beauty can't be the only factor to work, or She'd have left, and forgotton about, an Ol' Goat like me!!

Strong and buff is better. That does not mean we like a total body builder but it is definitely more attractive when a woman's thighs are larger than her calves... that whole #2 pencil thing is not such a hot look. Now having said that please don't think that a guy would not like you or not date you based on your legs alone. Men and women both fall in love with people of all shapes and sizes, and thank goodness for that!

Of-course everyone has a preference in what they find to be the ideal image. However, I think it is really an individual preference and that is not what most people base their relationships on. Good luck and God bless*

Well its mostly personal preference but in my case, i do prefer more toned legs. I do not like boney legs .. its just not attractive. Women need curves, and not to look like stick figures.

Personaly, I like thick legs. Not like obese, but thick, strong. Something to hold onto. I've never liked skinny girls, too boney. It's not confortable to cuddle with a chick that is all bones.

Legs are half of your body's overall appearance. Keeping them in shape is the key to having a sexy figire. Men just like sexy figures. However they have to understand that its personality that will stay sexy for eternity not your legs unfortunately.

Most guys like the 36-24-36 measurement if you're talking pure looks. But guys dont always like the magic measurement. For the one-night stand, guys like the booty. For the semi-serious relationship (month or two), guys tend to like the mild-mannered girl. But for the serious relationship, its all personality.
