It depends on what they believe in. My mother was in my home when she died. She was in a semi coma for a couple of days before. I believe she could hear me but she could not talk...she moaned every now and then. I talked to her just like I always did. I told her I was not going to leave her. I told her what a good mother she had been and I talked about all the specific things I could remember that were good memories. I sang her favorite songs to her and held her hand. Hearing is the last thing to go. I prayed with her and sometimes just sat and held her hand. I had other relatives that could not come to talk to her by phone. I think that was comforting to her. The biggest thing is not to leave them.

Yesterday morning I watched a small bit on the Chaplet prayer being read when people are about to die and experience of nuns and people stating how it gave them peace during this hard time. Anyone can read the prayer.

to make someone happy on his last moment is that to make him realize that God is forgiving and God love him so much and when he receive God to his life and have faith in HIM, this man will enter the kingdom of God where he will find the real meaning of happiness.

If he's not a Christian, tell him how to come to faith in Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior and receive the gift of eternal life.

If he's a Christian, tell him he's about to meet his Savior face-to-face!
