"Paleontologists look at the fossil record to study how evolution of dinosaurs and other animals occurred over millions of years, but in the case of the E. coli bacterium, new technology has given us the ability to observe evolution as it is occurring over a matter of days," said Bernhard Palsson, the senior author.

In other words, the team can show evolution -- adaptation to new conditions -- taking place before our eyes.

Even atheists have self assurance that evolution is an thought. it is not a actuality. The word evolution potential "substitute over the years". There are quite a few categories of evolution. First, there are evolutionary differences that take place interior a single species by making use of ideas such as organic determination and survival of the fittest. working example, if some frogs have long hind legs and different frogs have short hind legs, and the long-legged frogs can get remote from predators extra effectively with the aid of fact of their long legs, they'll probable stay longer than the quick-legged frogs. Then they'll stay longer, reproduce extra, and have extra long-legged frog infants. this form of evolution fantastically lots seen genuine by making use of scientists, no rely if or not they're creationist or not. 2nd, there is the belief of evolution between distinctive species. that's asserting that, working example, over billions of years, one species residing in the water could desire to evolve right into a species that could desire to stay to tell the story land. this could nicely be some distance from shown, and that's an thought. some creationists have self assurance that this form of inter-species evolution has passed off, and that they are spoke of as evolutionary creationists. Others have self assurance this form of evolution has passed off with divine interference at particular periods in time. extra conservative creationists don't have self assurance this has ever passed off. i be attentive to that's long, yet i in my view wish you examine it. with the aid of fact I took the time to place in writing it. You for sure did not pay interest once you discovered this at school. Please get your information in the present day so which you do not further embarrass your self.

you need to understand that what you are describing is accepted by creationists. Bacteria is known to evolve as HIV also does but the bacteria remains bacteria not another type of organism. That is miro (small) evolution. It is macro (large) evolution that creationists do not accept which is really "Darwinism". It has never been observed to occur and is supposed to be a change from one kind of organism or animal into another kind. Macroevolution is not a fact only a belief.

A good Christian does not deny the purpose of evolution in God's Creation. The different types of humans and animals had to evolve from those God created and survived the great flood. Bacteria is a necessary part of life on Earth. Being raised as a JW, we were encourage to learn about it, as it added to our knowledge of God Creation.

Y'know, it doesn't matter what I put down, this question is very baised. If I put down my answer as a CAtholic, I'll get thumbs down and pointed out as a close-minded brainwashed drooling idiot who you don't think can reason for myself beyond the bible. However, if I put my religin aside and pretend to go with what you believe and bash the religious to make you feel better, then I am commiting a sin against myself and God and that isn't worth catering to your ego.

You don't really care what the religious have to say. You just want to prove your evolution theory, laugh at creationism and go about your way believing you are superior. Humans aren't bacteria. Now, if you brought evidence of a human evolving into some higher lifeform, then I might conceed to believe you. But you haven't, so why push your beliefs on me?

Yes they do, they tend to re-categorize and try to pound a square peg into a round hole.

Suzanne, the development of a pump-like mechanism to pump out "toxins" in certain types of bacteria is not an "adaptation". Bacteria did not possess this mechanism earlier only to learn how to use it 50 years later.

Please explain to me the vermiform appendix or spleen in humans?

You established your premise that "bacteria can be observed evolving in real time...", but have not given any reference to that scientific study. It would be impossible to agree or disagree when the only thing you've given is a simpe statement that may or may not have any truth to it.

I haven't seen anything "Evolve" , not one time have I seen a monkey have a intellectual conversation, but than again, I don't think I have ever had intellectual conversation with someone who believes in evolution either. So maybe you have a point after all.

We believe that something can change or evolve to suit its surroundings, we don't believe that something can evolve into a different species.
