Have all symptoms of gall bladder disease; distended abdomen, heartburn, reflux, upset tummy, indigestion, pain on right side, nausea, etc.Would liver damage cause similar symptoms? What is the treatment for liver damage?

Those symptoms may be from liver disease. The distended abdomen sounds like it may be ascites (fluid retention in the peritoneal cavity), plus the gastric problems may be part of liver disease. You will need to see a gastroenterologist or hepatologist. If you haven't seen a doctor yet, you should go to the ER with these symptoms. You may need to be evaluated for a transplant if that's what it is. The liver does not show obvious signs of distress until the damage is advanced. I volunteer with a support group and clinic for hepatitis & liver disease, and over the years have seen many people who have needed a transplant. They are all doing wonderfully now. I'm not a doctor, so I can't tell you what's wrong, but I do want to encourage you to get checked out and not to put it off. Best wishes.

This suggests some liver damage due to drugs or a virus rather than gall bladder disease.
