There is not really a number one killing disease. But horse racing injuries and kills a lot of horses. And many of them are sent to slaughter once they have slowed down.

There really isn't a number one, Colic is common, Founder is common, infestation of worms, all these are common. Why, do you have a horse? is it sick?
