I have like my pal alan for ages and i think we can really get along but im to shy to say i like him and want to no him more. How do do it with out turning in to a nervous reck

Well it already sounds like your friends and maybe hang out together? So when your together just try listening to hI'm more or spending more time with him stuff like that and im sure he will get the hint...heck he may already be trying to figure out you also.

Well unfortunately there is no way to escape being nervous. This is what guys go through all the time, and it is the fear of rejection. Since he is a friend it will make him a little easier to talk to about it since he obviously likes u on the friendship level at least. I would just wait until the two of u are alone and then just be honest and open with him. Who knows, maybe he has the same feelings.........but if not at least u still have your friendship. Asking a person out is so easy. Stay away from the traditional way. Try something a little more subtle. " I'm going for coffee and pie, would you like to go along" ? Coffee and pie never hurt anyone.

well tell him you have something you need to
talk to him about. sit him down and explain to
him everything you want to tell. this best be in
person-- its a personal matter, after all. dont
be nervous; hes your good friend and he will
understand. friends need to discuss things
with eachother. thats part of the bond you
participate in while being someones pal.
it shouldnt be awkward at all, since you two are
such good friends and probably hang out and
talk a lot.

As far as your nerves go. Best advice I can give you is just be confident and don't really care what his reply is. If he says yes great. If he says no, well think of it as his loss.

i asked out a guy..and after being turned down...i dun fink i wanna ask out a guy anymore...guyz like doin the chasing...i was impatient..maybe if i waited a bit longer..i might have a chance...if a guy likes u..he'll ask u out...just talk to him...smile at him...and flirt with him...but not too obvious..u dun want to let him kno that ur desperate to b with him. good luck with it :) hope he'll ask u out...
