Standing with Israel opens the door of Blessings from God--as this is his promise.
The opposite of this is Gods promise that those that stand her--he will curse.

connection between protecting Israel and becoming rich? Do
soldiers become rich? Tell me about it.

If you are referring to becoming rich emotionally and spiritually, your reply to protect Israel is a good one. Moneywise, this is not a good idea. Soldiers do not get paid well, as if it an obligation for all to be in the military, at least part time.
