Criminals are those who encroach on other people rights, like stealing, beating etc., illegal immigrants are not criminals and they just over stay because of one reason or other, some have families, some find friends.
The world belongs to GOD no man should put boundries on others to go from place to place, how do you think we advanced so much in technology and other things, until recently anybody could go anywhere, how do you think, America got settlled, who would have come to Amercia in those old days. Now America is the first country stopping free movement of people. I dont understand this.

Anyone who breaks the law is a criminal, and sneaking into a country without coming legally is illegal. That being said, it is understandable why many people take that risk to come to the U.S. In past eras it was easier to get a Visa (legal papers) and come here legally. Now, there is such an LONG wait. If you have relatives already here legally, or if you are not able to support yourself and your family in your own country, you may be desperate enough to break the law. It doesn't make it right, though. Going to any country without proper papers is wrong and the illegal people should be sent home immediately. (I also think it's wrong of a government not to enforce the laws. Companies who hire illegal immigrants should be fined and penalized so that they don't hire illegal people. Then, if we need more laborers, the government should issue more work Visas to bring them here legally.)

America has long been a land of opportunity, and has kept its doors open when other countries shut theirs, including welcoming political dissidents (see history books, esp WWII and Hitler/Mussolini/Stalin). However, anytime one sneaks into a place, they are criminals.
If someone sneaks into my house - they are a criminal. My country is an extension of my house. Just like my house, my country has boundaries which limit my rights to free traversement. If I go to another country, chances are that even within that country travel is restricted, unlike here.
Any person who sneaks in then has set themselves up, willingly or not, to be treated the way anyone would treat an intruder in their home. My country, my home. The parallel is universal.
Immigrants have come into this country for centuries, and even in the beginning those who came through the ports were verified, restricted, and required to show just cause. Why should that change just because travel is easier? Personally, I prefer that the ports be restricted so that those entering can be verified - disease free (do we really want TB and measles back?) and ready to work (do we need more welfare families?) and not criminals on the lam (our prisons are alread full, thank you!).

My opinion would be yes. The word Illegal tells us that they have broken the law. Many people have immigrated to this country legally for years. Why should we let people come here by sneaking in. Again the word illegal tells us that they are indeed criminals.

If you sneak across the border into Mexico and are caught you will be charged and put in jail where you will rot away for quite some time.
Mexicans that sneak across the border into the United States are Criminals but are treated differently for some very very strange reason.
The word illegal means it is a crime.
If someone does something illegal like taking a drug like cocaine they are arrested and charged with criminal activity but when Mexicans illegally sneak into our country nothing happens.
Why doesn't the government arrest these criminals and send them back to Mexico?

The simple fact that they are in this country illegally makes them a criminal. You do something illegal you have committed a crime. Thus the term "illegal immigrant". Read the definition of the words you have used in your question and you will find the answer to your question.

it is not an opinion, but a fact that ILLEGAL immigrants are criminals. Criminals are those who do illegal things, right? So by definition, they are criminals.

Crime is breaking the law. The law are words written on paper. You could write anything like "It's a crime to be called John.", now everyone named John is a criminal. So in a sense illegal immigrants ARE criminal but then so what? big deal!
