Mav think absolutely. Just click through your TV and you'll see someone saying 'send me money and we'll pray for you'

Mav also look at cost of bringing some speakers in to talk at your group. One lady speaker wanted to charge $3000.00 for traveling 60 miles, speaking for one afternoon and going home.

Mav called someone else who charged travel cost and food. We put her up in someones home.

Yes - which is just one of the reasons I turned my back on it and simply decided to be "spiritual".

I always find it rather nauseating that the church is about the richest land owner there is - worth many billions - and yet they will still try and guilt trip some poor old girl into handing over part of her pension to pay for the new roof on the church.

Perhaps I am the only one that is disgusted by this, most folks seem happy to hand over their money when the sponging tray is passed around.

Religion is the ultimate con, it is government protected, tax free and the product they sell doesn't have to be delivered until you reach a place that doesn't exist. No wonder so many people jump on this manured money wagon.

In all Religions Yes

Every body's God has a price tag on it for some
you know what is so funny in a sarcastic way.....is find out how many parishioners need help(really need help)that the Church turns away and the others turn their backs on them

Yes. And they give those who are trying to accomplish good things a bad name. In any religion.

Yes, I do. And I think that they are being exposed. We can know by the "fruits". Is the ministry really helping people or just helping themselves? This is how I look at it.

Yes. There certainly are. But that doesn't negate Christianity.

Remember . .. .. Christians are People. And People make Mistakes. Nuff said.
