I think so. More into meditation (listening) and less talking (praying). Quieting the mind and spirit, that God may make himself known. There has been enough fear placed on established religions and New Agers are all about the "original" plan...LOVE.

The only way to understand the nature of God is to examine what He has told us about Himself and how He has operated in this world. Anyone who goes on a flight of imagination meditating upon what God might be like is going to end up creating a god of their own making in their mind.

If you want to learn about God's true nature I would suggest reading "Knowledge of the Holy" by A W Tozer. There is a link near the bottom third of the Free Stuff page @ http://web.express56.com/~bromar/ where you can look at it on line for free.
