You'll grossly over train your chest and triceps.You're not giving sufficient time to heal the microtrauma.Doing more push ups in one session to failure(you couldn't do another at the end of each set) will bring about much better results.Not only will this place a greater load on the muscle,but you will involve more muscle fibers as you near and reach failure.
Taking several days to a week in between work outs is advisable.Do several sets to failure and don't bother counting.You're done with the set when you can't do another.Eat plenty of protein(every three hours if you can) and a surplus of calories every day.

not everyday, no. its not how much you do a day, but its if you keep at it that really matters. 100-200 push ups a day will make your muscles sore! try starting off at like 25 push ups like 3 times a day about 3 or 4 times a week. and keep doing more and more each time. good luck.

You get incredibly strong like I did when I did this at sea in the Navy. Throw in 25 pull-ups at a time. I could hit a softball over 300 foot at a bodyweight of 165
Most power hitters weigh 250 lbs and up.
I could also do 50 2 finger push ups at a time

if you wanna grow muscle that way, every 2 weeks you will have to do more reps. people get bigger at the gym because they progressively lift larger weights. if you wanna get bigger, join a gym if you're over 15 or do more pushups every 2 weeks. if you wanna stay tone, just do 200 per day. you'll be strong either way.

It's definatley good for you and you will see some differences but the only way to pack on muscle is heavy weight. if all you can do is pushups though make your body strain by doing different variations. Arms wide, somewhere in the middle then hands touching. elvate your feet on a stool or somethingput something heavy in a book bag to add extra weight just make sure you can still keep your back straight.

That's just some random misinformation. To increase muscle mass, you must place a demand on your muscles that they have not previously experienced. That means heavier weights in a safe fashion. In addition, you must have whey protein (you can get it from Optimum Nutrition) to meet the new muscle fiber that is about to grow.
Pushups alone will not target all your muscles. For arms, also do dips and pull ups, and try to visit a high school gym if you can't afford an adult one.
