There is no such thing as a "teacup" chihuahua. They are just the (often sickly) runt of the litter. Sadly, some breeders actually breed these 1-2 pound dogs. Can you imagine only weighing one pound and being forced to have babies?
Why do some breeders do this? They just want tons of money.
Standard chihuahuas are small enough and they love to cuddle. They are a lot of hard work though. They are very smart but stubborn so potty training and teaching basic commands is rather difficult. With a lot consistency and patience, you will soon have a great, loving dog.
Dogs aren't just for Christmas, they are for life.

I assume you are looking for a Chihuahua mix? Go to www.akc.org & go to breed rescue - find the nearest rescue group for Chihuhuas. Many times they have mixes that are predominately of their breed.
