Definitely Chinese because it's so sing-song!

it's good to learn a 2nd language especially if it's widely-used somewhere else.

English is the universal language so that tops my list, although Chinese and Spanish comes to a very near second (due to the number of people who speaks it too or are at least blingual to it).

French is really romantic although it's a challenge to learn because its words are not pronounced the way it's spelled and the different words for feminine and masculine words are also different.

the Japanese are a proud and patriotic people so if you intend to work or stay in Japan for a while then you should definitely learn Nihonggo.

Very difficult to say! French sounds beautiful; Spanish sounds cool, as does Japanese. I don't know about Chinese--Manderin is supposed to sound beautiful. English? Well, it depends who is speaking and where they are from. I do like Scottish and Welsh accents. Perhaps English spoken with a French accent is the nicest!

None of the above.
First choice will be music, if $ dosen't count as a language.

English has too many variations and exceptions.
French writes too many silent alphabets.
Spanish is too hyper.
Japan has one spoken but 4 in writing
Chinese has two in writing but more than 20 uncommunicable spoken dialetes

Yoruba.

I will have to go with a three way tie for English French and Spanish since Yoruba is not there.

for this list i would say spanish, but none are particulary very appealing to the ear. i prefer the native languages of mexico which have a more melodious tone.

What is "nicest"? To hear? To speak? I like Spanish and Japanese, trailed closely by French.

Any language can be beautiful if spoken properly with a pleasant tone of voice.

"Querido, tiras la basura, por favor" .... this can sound so romantic when a lady says this to her man in Spanish ...

"Take the garbage out, will ya luv?" .... The romance is lost in the translation
