You should understand as much as you can about what the job entails and the place you will be working. they will most likely ask about your education, your experience in the field, and why you want to work in the field. They may give you a couple of hypothetical situations to find out how you would react. (What if a child fell down and their arm was at a strange angle? What would you do?)

There are no canned answers, as every individual is different. They have a few minutes to get to know you and determine if you will fit into the organization. The fact that they have offered you an interview indicates that they believe you have the necessary qualifications. The best tact is to be yourself and do your best to relax!

And always dress up! Look professional and dress one level above what the job typically requires.

And an interview is a two way situation, you should ask questions about the job to insure that you want it and would like it. It also shows interest in the position. (Don't ask a lot about benefits, then it seems like you are more interested in your own welfare and not that of the company.)

Say your teaching style is a child-focused sense of care and compassion. You bring out the childs' potential and create a caring environment conducive to a high standard of educational quality.

You support childrens' imaginations and foster a sense of trust with each child in your care.

Repeat the word 'care' a lot.....

Tell me about yourself
Tell me about your experience with young children.
Have you ever had to deal with an angry parent and how did you handle it?
How do you think a parent should learn about their child's day at the daycare? How should it be communicated and by who?
If a child has a biting or other behavior problem, how would you approach the parent about it?

one of the questions they will or should ask you is what you understand about equal opportunity.

your answer should be. equal opportunity is treating everbody equally and not less favourably than another. it is about treating people the way one would want to be treated them selves.

hope your interview goes well
