It is that which inspires divinely. It is from the Greek tradition of asking one of the Muses to inspire a writer with an idea or with help in writing. The Illiad begins with something like 'Come Muse, inspire me now.....'

Being a writer, I know that to be "inspired", means to be given a thought, or idea
from which to write. After that, one writes with his or her own understanding.
There are supposed to be Muses. Spiritual beings that inspire us, in music, and
even technology. They say that that is why several ideas for the same invention
will arrive at the Patent Office at once. And similar thoughts will come to different
people in different cultures. So all human beings can get the benefits.

Divine inspiration is the thought, will , and desire to do something that you feel comes from God. It is when you listen to the spirit within you and answer it's quiet call.
