I am a true bible believing christian, not associated with any denomination. I personally also think it is wrong that everyone HATES the gay's, being gay is just a sin like there are many others. Most people don't observe the true Sabath, and this is one of the 10 commandments, yet no one really cares, but they care about gay's???

In spite of Freud's quotation from a previous answer, God does encourage everybody to love everybody. God worshippers, whether US Evangelicals or Middle East Muslims or India's Hindus are far removed from such an expectation.
By the way, Freud is wrong on this regard.

God wants us to love the sinner, but hate the sin. And do you practice everything you are taught. Don't forget that Christians are human first and Christians second. And all have sinned and come short of the glory of God. That why God gives us his grace and forgiveness.

I think alot of people find it easier to be hateful than to be loveing. Love is a complicated feeling, Hate is simple. There are alot of lazy people.

It says that it is wrong to be gay in the bible. But I don’t think it’s their place to say rude things about homosexuals. It’s none of their business. It gives Christians, as I am one myself, a bad name.

God doesn't teach us to love everyone, it's how you're raised that and I do believe that the bible says a man shall not lay with another man.

It doesn't teach you to love everybody.
