If he's willing to cheat on his girlfriend, he's not so great! If you just want to fool around, there's nothing to stop you continuing this fling. However, if you really want to be with him, then I'd advise you to stop and tell him that you don't want a fling - you want a relationship - not necessarily here and now, but some time. If you're that into him, then you'll give him the time to sort things out with his current girlfriend and his life. That's assuming that he says he wants a relationship with you too...
Also, find out WHY he's cheating on her - is he unhappy with her and looking for something/someone to make him happy or is he just after anything and everything he can get???
Don't forget - if he's willing to cheat on his current girlfriend, he may be willing to cheat on you if/when you're his new girlfriend!!!

I say this with love and hugs and as a woman who's "been there" .... pick up a copy of "He's just not that into you" and read the chapter about men with girlfriends and wives.
You can do better than this and you know you can. Would you really want a guy who breaks up with his girlfriend for you, or cheats on her with you? Because that same guy, will break up with you for another chick and cheat on you with her.

I agree with the majority of answers you've received so far....leave the guy alone. If he really liked you he would be with you instead of just having you on the side. Besides, who'd want to be with someone that is open to cheating other than someone else that is okay with cheating? Even if he did leave her for you (or her finding out and leaving him!) I respect myself too much to be 2nd choice....'Once a cheater, always a cheater'

He's with someone else - if he liked you as much as you like him - he would of left her by now.
How would you feel if you were dating him and this other girl was after him - not very happy!
Trust me, being the girlfriend and knowing that a friend of your bloke fancies him - its not nice. I trust him but not her. He lied to me once about her to try and protect my feelings but I got more hurt about him lying than anything else.
You will meet someone of your own one day. Just try to not compare them all to your mate.

I can understand liking him but think of it this way...if he is willing to mess around on his girlfriend with you what would he do if you were his girlfriend? I say walk away and if you are meant to be together you will be when he is single.
