I'm doing some research and I'd love to have some input on what everyone thinks of the high rates of Immigration in London, especially with all the proposed expansion of the EU. So what do you think?

I think there are going to be some major problems when the Bulgarians and Romanians hit town because their way of life is so different to ours and, their definition of crime is not even close to our own.
The Bulgarians and Romanians just do not give a damn about other peoples human rights and see everyone as a target,as there are strong gang influences which they will bring to our streets,I have been to both countries and was very shocked at what went on.
I predict that there will be problems never seen before in this country and are dreading it when they enter our country.

I think it's out of control - not just the east europeans (though I like the cute Polish etc girls!) but all the asian workers being brought in on temporary work permits by companies. Some parts of London, it hardly feels like England any more. I feel that everything was well controlled/managed until 1997 - since then it's been a free for all. Something's got to be done otherwise there's going to be an explosion of support for the BNP esp with the Tories going soft as well

I support all migration related to the European Union. I do not support anymore migration from the third world. I also believe the current problem is UK-made. The UK had the opportunity, like other EU states, to manage this issue. Instead the UK just took the usual muddle through attitude. The UK only has itself to blame for all the dislocation and crime.

There isn't a day that goes by when the thought of it doesn't make me want to vomit.

On Sunday an Eastern European guy tried to pick pocket me on Oxford Street. On Monday an African hassled my girlfriend on her way to work. Today I got a call from the bank saying my card had been cloned and was being used in Pakistan!

DONT tell me these people are not destroying my country! Enough is enough. The people of Britain will not take this for much longer.

It's pretty bad...

How would those in the UK feel if our Mexicans which are flooding our borders here in the US were using the US for terrorist proliferation and breeding grounds and were plotting attacks on the UK,
I wonder how many in the UK would be telling us we need to do something about our immigration policies.....

Sick Sick Sick of it. These people come into the country for work and then send their earnings back home to their families. They are not contributing in anyway to this country. Many of them, because they are earning low wages qualify for tax credits! Why the hell should they qualify for benefits which the rest of us are paying for. It makes my blood boil!!!!

We have had a big old melting pot in London for years and years. Life here would be really boring without it. You only have to go out of London to realise how boring it is without London's diverse mix of cultures.
