Depends what type of guy he is but the best card to play is the comedy card. Get him laughing or talk about what does make him laugh and already he will see you as someone to have fun with. Plus there is a huge amount of comedy out there and if you find something you both like then you can click almost instantly. Hope this helps.

Talk about I'm a celebrity get me out of here, but call it 'I'm a jungle, get me a celebrity' instead, if he has a sense of humour it will make him laugh. Chat about things that scare you, ask him what scares him. This will break the ice. If in doubt tak about movies, they are easy for both sexes to chat about. Good luck. Talk about the fact that you feel so comfortable that you can quite happily sit quiet together without even talking. Then maybe it wont matter if there is a lull in conversation.
