The major divisions are 2, the old and new testaments. The minor divisions are the individual books. That's my opinion.

Major divisions are Old Testament and New Testament. But some may consider books, chapters, and verses, in that order as going from major to minor.

Can you give us a little more to work on?
The first five books of the Old Testament are called the Pentateuch, or Torah.

The first five books of the New Testament are called the Gospels.
Most of the rest of the New Testament are called the Letters.

There are 24 books of the Old Testament Bible considered Canonical and divided up into the Law, the Prophets, and the Writings, or Hagiographa

Is this what you are looking for?
