first of all.....put some effort in whatever you do..do your duties get done well by you......just try to get independent as much a s possible..just remember "we can't be happy unless and untill we get independent". Another important thing is that don't fight with your brain for improving yourself again and again. Things will be done automatically and you won't even get to know when the thing will turn the way you had always wished for..wht you should do is "present your true self in front of others" as much as possible..accept the way you are..there are lots of people in this world who have got worries much much bigger than you...so dont worry.. be yourself ..
Another advice i can give is that u should be trying meditation and stuff like that ...i cant tell you much about meditation as i have'nt practised it at all.

To increase self-esteem, the MOST IMPORTANT thing to do is:
Have a good respect on your ownself!
Believe that you are pretty good in mind!!
Think of this always especially at the time you wake-up and the time you get into bed!
Automatically you will feel better and self-esteemed, sure!
Best Wishes!!

Have self confidence. If any body else can do it you too can do it. If you are failing, others also are likely to fail. No one is extraordinary. It is the extra bit of effort they are putting and the slice of fortune assisting them, that they are succeeding. If you feel this way, you can increase your self esteem.

Have the pride to spell correctly for a start.
Put effort into most of things you do, and if you have put in a genuine effort and failed, don't be too hard on yourself. Try to recognise where you failed and improve on that area next time.
Good luck.
