Thank you both. I've made notes and gave them to my wife for her action and I'm sure she will use both in her computer classes for elementary students. Since the school doesn't have the funds.

Alpha Omega has an on-line school program that tracks your progress for you. They also have (at a much lower cost), a software-based program called "Switched On Schoolhouse" that will calculate grades and track progress for you. If you are the kind of student who can stay on task, but is bored with just books, SOS is for you.

I use http://www.iknowthat.com/com. They have two options: you can register and use the site for free which I have been doing as I don't need any documentation for my homeschool, but they do also have another option which they call the premium option where you can pay and they have progress reports, you can do quizzes, worksheets, and other upgrades they don't have for the free subscribers like me. I've considered doing that but haven't done so, because it's $34.95 a year (I wish it was just a little cheaper and I would definitely subscribe). They do let you use it for 6 kids though.

They have dozens of educational games in every subject which I would recommend, the geography puzzles are nice, and everything else really, division has been very nice practice for my son also and they have all the math areas. They have educational games for Pre-Kindergarten through 6th grade but I think some of the geography and science games even a 7th or 8th grader could use (I know they seem challenging for me at least and I have college degrees).

My children enjoy the site also which is a plus. My dd especially enjoys the animal habitats game, where the children figure out which animals live in the habitat and then they earn an animal card when they choose the 3 correct animals and place them in the habitat. It is very nicely done and she is learning a lot about animals, habitats, and geography in that game!
