There is a girl I have had a crush on for a long time.I thought for so long that she also had the same feelings for me.Recently she started avoiding me.I asked a good friend of hers why.She said that she was getting tired of me.I was just crushed to know this.I've been sulking and isolating myself ever since.I don't know what to do.When you find out the love of your life doesn't feel the same for you can you ever be whole again?Somebody please help me.

first of all, you are not alone in this problem. in fact you can bet your bottom dollar that across the globe, millions of people from all walks of life are currently suffering the same heartache as you.the key is to convert these painful, aching feelings into a positive energy. Remember that some of the worlds greatest poetry and love songs were written by emotional composers suffering the exact same symptoms of heartache as you. after all if it wasn't for heartache and the down-side of love, if you will, we wouldn't have Bonnie Tyler, Robbie Williams,Sting, and Bette Midler.

That's tough man. Sorry to hear that. But you shouldn't sulk and isolate yourself. But nothing happened...it was just a crush. Don't hang your heart on your sleeve. I've notice that everyone who answers 'singles and dating' question here always gives the "there are other fish in the sea...other birds in the air" speech, but it is true.

Maybe you could just be her friend...hang back alittle and chill out. Don't be a love sick puppy.

Sex, t.v. and painting. Maybe a bottle of tequila with lime and salt. Beware the hangover. McDonald's while not ideal food, is a good hangover cure. Salt and fat. Drink a lot of water.

How can you stop the rain from falling down?
How can you stop the sun from shining?
What makes the world go round?

How can you mend this broken man?
How can a loser ever win?
Please help me mend my broken heart, and let me live again!

i have been there before... all of us have.. time is the only thing that heals those wounds.... at times it might seem you are not going to overcome these emotions but you will... go out with your friends... is thre anyone else you might be interested on?? at times meeting others girls will definatelly help// but PLEASE dont allow this girl to know how you are suffering for this.. always act cool and collected... like if nothing bothers you... she will eventually miss the attention you were giving her before and she will be the one after you..TRUST me!!been there ..done that...go out ..dress up...look good and make sure she sees you but you ignore her...good luck!!

Your talking about a "crush" as in you haven't dated her, you don't date her? fill us in.
If she and you haven't even dated how does she know you like her, how can you like her if she doesn't really know you. I would say to go to her and tell her how you feel and ask her out.

I haven't asked your age, I'm assuming your not some young kid? right?

It hurts..... but just take it one little breath at a time. Try to be OK this moment. It takes time to heal... and the deeper the hurt the longer it takes.
