Woman are usually the culprits for playing the chase game. If someone is interested then sometimes they play a catch me if you can scenario.
What I don't understand is why bother playing chase when both people like each other

hi, to me the chase is when you find someone you really fancy and want to go out with them it is the flirting and the looks and body language you give each other, it is the butterflies you feel when you see one another and the way your heart skips a beat when they smile at you...and the only way to find out if it was more than just a chase is to go out with the person and take a chance in the hope that romance still exists good luck

If you mean the phrase "It's not the kill, it's thrill of the chase." That's easy.
It means the fight to get what you want, and once you have it, you're not sure you ever really wanted it.
It applies to a lot of things in life. A boy or girlfriend, a car, a job, power and other things.

The chase is where either a guy or woman fixates on someone , Its really a preamble to sex.. once sex has taken place the fixation dies and those involved usually just move on to the next victim.

The pursuit of the man after the woman. Or does the woman lure the man on? Is the hunter really the hunted? Such is the game of love
