It is true that Jehovah's Witnesses are not loved by everyone.
http://jw-media.org/newsroom/human_rights.htm
Some people hate Jehovah's Witnesses out of ignorance, or over some misunderstanding. A few may have had a bad personal experience with an individual who claimed to be a Jehovah's Witness, and prejudicially extended their animus to this entire Christian religion.
However, it seems that the majority of anti-Witness hatred is motivated by religious intolerance and bigotry. A few may even be motivated against their Christian worship by the unseen 'god of this system of things', Satan the Devil.
(2 Corinthians 4:4) the god of this system of things has blinded the minds of the unbelievers
Interestingly, such "hatred" should be expected by true Christians in this time of the end, and it actually helps identify Jehovah's Witnesses as Christ's true disciples:
(John 15:19) If you were part of the world, the world would be fond of what is its own. Now because you are no part of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, on this account the world hates you.
(Luke 6:22) Happy are you whenever men hate you, and whenever they exclude you and reproach you and cast out your name as wicked for the sake of the Son of man.
(1 Peter 4:4) Because you do not continue running with them in this course to the same low sink of debauchery, they are puzzled and go on speaking abusively of you.
(2 Timothy 4:3-5) For there will be a period of time when they will not put up with the healthful teaching, but, in accord with their own desires, they will accumulate teachers for themselves to have their ears tickled; and they will turn their ears away from the truth, whereas they will be turned aside to false stories. You, though, keep your senses in all things, suffer evil, do the work of an evangelizer, fully accomplish your ministry.
It seems signficant that the relatively small religion of Jehovah's Witnesses are the ones best known for their worldwide preaching work. Yet Jesus commanded that ALL who would call themselves "Christian" perform this public work:
(Matthew 28:19,20) Go therefore and make disciples of people of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the holy spirit, teaching them to observe all the things I have commanded you. And, look! I am with you all the days until the conclusion of the system of things.

I don't hate anyone, or any religion. I just don't want it shoved down my throat at dinnertime! You say you'll go away if politely asked? Not in the states where I've lived! I'm happy with my religion, and I don't need a door to door salesman to sell me a new one! I do, however, have a really good Jehovahs witness joke that relates to my profession, truck driving. (Please do not take offense to this joke, it's just that...a joke) First, let me tell you that one of the notorious problems with all Freightliner trucks is that the doors will never close tightly. It's a nuisance all drivers of that particular truck must endure...that being said:
What's the difference between a Freightliner and a Jehovah's witness?
You can shut the door on a Jehovah's witness!
As I said before, I've had to all but close the door in someone's face to get them to leave. I am not a mean or rude person by nature, but I don't like being bothered.
Thanks for asking, and I hope you don't take offense to ANY of the answers you've gotten. You have to expect a few rude replies!

not all JH take no as answer. And then there are some who might just knock on someone door like 8 am on a saturday when most people just want to sleep in. The JH will just keep knocking especial if they see cars in the drive way. That is why most people hate JH. Plus if there is only a certain number that is allowed in heaven then why would you want to tell other about it and get your place taken away from you.

Hello Nate. I don't hate Jehovah's witnesses. I know that you are Christians and good people. It's just that I happen to like being Roman Catholic. I also know that you have different traditions and don't celebrate Christmas and birthdays and that you don't believe in Holy Communion because you think that transubstantiation is akin to vampirism. One of my loveliest buddies when I grew up was a Jehovah's witness. I respect your differences and would not be rotten to you on the door step.

I personally would never hate another person. People have such a problem with Jehovah Witnesses because it's like they're trying to sell their religion. They go door to door (like a salesman) & try to high pressure you into accepting what they're offering (like a salesman) Most people don't want to be bothered in their homes, & most certainly not about religion.
My mother was a Jehovah's Witness, & I went to the Kingdom Hall with her for a few years. For a group of pepople that are supposed to be so loving & forgiving & what have you..... they were the biggest bunch of back-stabbing, two- faced people I've ever met in my life.

I don't think "hate" is the word. There is alot of scorn for the JW belief that Jesus is not God. It can be easily proven that the JW New World Translation was mistranslated to support Russell's teaching on this matter, yet the indoctrination given to JWs has lead them to reject the apparent truth.
Quite simply, the JW rejection of Jesus' Godhood is viewed as a deep blasphemy. This is enough to alienate the majority of Christians, regardless of denomination.
If you would like to see actual documents that prove JWs have been lied to (including proof that John 1:1 is mistranslated and JWs have been lied to about this, also), go here:

I hope you read this and understand I'm not posting this in a spirit of condemnation; I'm truly concerned about your salvation.
Peace.

First enable me say there are numerous issues i'm getting excitement from approximately JW. Your zeal for and involvement on your organization are unequaled by ability of maximum. I even have numerous issues in effortless, I proportion your subject approximately non secular apostasy, your coaching against evolution and your perception in the arrival conflict of armageddon whilst God will destroy the forces of devil and set up on earth His Kingdom. You and that i the two have faith that Jesus Christ grew to become right into a suitable guy, and that he's a guy or woman diverse from God the father. even though, that's my know-how you coach His earthly existence, Christ grew to become right into a spirit creature, Michael the archangel who grew to become into created by ability of God and turns into the Messiah at his baptism. In enable God Be authentic p.33 JW call Jesus a powerful one even with the undeniable fact that not as powerful as Jehovah God is. Jn.a million:a million on your bible (new international trasns) Christ is "a god" not "the God". The bible does not substantiate those statements? Matt.a million:23 Christ is stated as Immanuel, which ability "God with us", Col.2:9 for sure confirms the deity of Christ. Is6"a million-10 & Jn12:31-40 two, Is. observed Jesus' glory. In Ex.34:14 worship in basic terms Jehovah Heb.a million:6 angels worship Christ. Is. 40 4:6 Jehovah is first and the final, in Rev. 22:13 Christ is the 1st and the final. Christ is maximum needed to salvation. there is not any incorrect way wherein adult males would be saved.

Sure. I said that every week for a year, to the same few people. I am not a sitting duck. I finally moved from that apartment, but I'm sure whoever lives there now is still facing the same idiots every Saturday. Pushy pushy. And I was working 60 hours a week at that time, do you know how much I really wanted to be wasting my only day off answering the door?

No trust me politely saying I'm not interested doesnt work. I once spent half an hour trying to get rid of one woman. She came back the next day for another go as well!
EDIT: I dont hate you or others of your religion but You'd make more friends if you stopped the door to door thing altogether, it really the rudest most annoying experience you can have on such a frequent basis. I wouldnt dream of knocking on a strangers door and ramming my beiefs down their throat.
