If you are asking what a laceration is, then it is a deep cut in the flesh. A wound laceration on the other hand is a little bit more. If the wound is not heal or infected for what ever reason the doctor might deside to lacerate the would by cutting it open a bit more so it can drain or be cleaned to promote better and faster healing.
