It seems self-explanatory. There is a price to be paid for everything, including the breath we take. Did you know that one reason for cell-degeneration (namely aging) is because we are oxygen-breathers? Oxygen causes us to 'rust' in pretty much the same way it does iron and other metals. So, even the breath we take is not free, we pay for it with every cell that dies.

I think that to a certain extent that is true, but friendship is a luxury and you dont pay people for that do you?

Guess it depends in what your paying with, like money or just repaying a friend a favour.

I wouldn't consider everything to be a luxury. Just a fancy way of saying everything in the world is precious....even though it isn't...not trying to be a negative person just looking at the reality of it.
