Im going to OZ for six months in february and was wondering what injections i may need if any. Do i also need to be aware of Malaria and take precautions for that? Im going to Melboune, and Adelaide. Does anybody know how much these injections will cost?

Nothing! Don't worry about injections for Australia. Especially seeing as you will be in 2 major cities. Australia is quite safe in that respect and there are no diseases like Malaria going around. Enjoy your trip.

Nothing. Due to its isolation and stringent customs and immigration policies Australia is pretty much the least contaminated country in the world, with the possible exception of New Zealand for the same reasons. You may, however, want to make sure your tetanus is up to date. The attached link has more detail.

Ask for innoculations for the following Maleria, Ross River fever, Murray river fever, Yarra fever. If your bitten by a Drop bear you may need a tetnis injection. That are the main ones should ask for

If you call your GP and speak to the receptionist they will tell you to make an appointment with the nurse. You will probably only need Tetnus, Dip and possibly Hep to be on the safe side. They don't cost anything.
