he said he would call when he knows if he wants to break up or not, our relationship is still young and a lot of pressure has been put on the 2 of us. i don't think he is going to call, do i wait and hope or give in and call him?

If your in a hurry move on. If not then don't worry about it. If you meet someone casually in the mean time then balls in your court now isn't it?
