For a faithful believer , we should follow each and every part of the book, never expect the book to suit you. In this case you are no longer faithful.

We are suppose to follow the entire book because on that big judgement day when we stand before THE JUDGE to be judged all of the books of the BIBLE will be opened and we will be judged on the whole thing. If we know God and let Him live in us, He will obey the whole book, therefore we will too. He lives thru us. What a joyful, peaceful life it is. Yes things happen but when you realize it is His life not yours, it is much better.

People will identify with certain parts of their book. Other parts they may not understand yet. It depends on their level of development.

I try my best to follow all parts. I see no point in serving God with only half of my mind, soul and heart.
