I don't have a multi-region DVD player - is there a chip or something I can buy in order to be able to watch it?

There are websites you can go on that tell you how to make your particular DVD player region free. There are different ways of doing it depending on the make and model of your player.

Most UK region 2 players can be easily converted to play multi-region discs. There is one main exception which I think is Phillips, but most brands (including the cheap Asda,Tesco makes) can be altered simply by pressing the correct combinations of numbers on the remote control and entering the engineers menu to change the region code from "2" to "9".

The exact sequence depends on your player, but is typically something like - open tray - press 2 - 6 - 5 and enter.

Check out this website and link (http://www.dvd.reviewer.co.uk/info/multiregion/hackable.asp) and see if your player is listed for a remote hack.

You have to buy a multi-regional dvd player. Go to www.kelkoo.co.uk they price compare multi-regional players. Amazon appear to sell them.

you need to ghange your dvd player to multi region.
