a man can ask a woman to marry him, because he's in love with her, and he needs to spend his lifetime with her, and he's afraid to loose her, and its not about a special age, its about when the guy is settled , he feels responsible , and he's ready for commitment , for building a family , raising children and spending his money on his family ,

For the first question : love , money !!
The ideal age : after 27-28 - because he finished his studies ( hopefully ) , he started already to work by this age , he has already a couple of years of working and figuring out what he wants in life ..... So at his age he can present in front a woman with a "life" not just a "body " ....

I really varies, I believe. My boyfriend talked about marriage a month into our relationship (He was 18 at the time). It's been 14 months now and he's still adament. Obviously we won't be marrying anytime soon, but something must trigger in a mans mind to want to...

there is no ideal age now your mental age depends on how mature you are and if your ready but if you rather hang with your boys all the time and play games go to the bars your not ready youll know when your ready

love makes a person want to marry and i don't think theres an ideal age.....i was 35 when i got married....my husband was 22 his first....44 with his second and 45 with me .... lol

I think the thought of being single or starting over with someone else, secretly scares men.

if you love her and want to spend the rest of your life with her then maybe you should start thinking about marriage it doesn't really matter about age the most imporatant think is that you both want to be with each other
