Hey there
No Suprise I was in the same boat
The most recent product is "Clean and Clear advantage spot reducing cream" it's proven to reduce redness and spot size
For mild acne/spots, try "quinoderm" (pharmacy/chemist) it's for acne but it still has the desired effect
Failing that Clearasil may work, however i havent heard anything new from them yet
Andy
Ps, you should not squeeze the spot, as it can be unsightly and possibly cause you a headache!

Toothpaste works wonders. Best to use overnight so you don't look silly in public. It is great for drying out the spot and reducing redness. Do it at the first sign of a spot and it will stop it getting big.
Tee Tree Oil is great too. I use toothpaste at night and tee tree in the day.

The Body Shop had a brilliant spot gel. Seaweed Gel. If you can still get your hands on it stock up. It takes away redness and swelling and does not dry out your skin and it clears up spots almost overnight. It's clear as well so you can wear it under concealer

Isn't there a prescription drug called Roaccutane that is really good for acne.
I think that after popping one and its bleeding, a lot of people don't know that they should stick some tissue paper to it to absorb the blood. If this is not done a dried blood scab develops, this can be avoided if the blood it absorbed when wet.

Remember 'Oxytet' lotion some years ago - it claimed to be the front runner.
