depends on who is drinking, 30mls or 1 shot is a standard drink but some vodka may be over or under that depending on the strength of it, but 2 the beer i don't know the strength of it and the voloume of it, some beers are around 1.2 to 1.4 standard drinks ( in australia)

Depends on how you mix it. My friend's ex-common law husband, Al, used to mix 4 oz. vodka with 4 oz. lemonade. He believed in the 'half-and-half' approach. Needless to say, we tinkered with it a little by adding water, club soda, orange juice, lemon juice or Sprite. He was usually so piss-drunk he didn't even notice.
Kronenburg beer should be banned. Try a Holsch or Guinness.

A shot of alcohol is a shot of alcohol.(one ounce) ..no matter what it is..The strength of hard liq. depends on the proof (distilling time) I am sure you have heard of 80 proof,100 proof....Now as far as beer itself not ale..in the US the max. amount of alcohol in a 12 oz beer is 1 shot (approx. 1 ounce) and is not more than 5.9% by volume..most buds, lights, etc etc are 5% by volume give or take a tenth of a point. Natural Ice is 5.9% by volume and as far as I know it probably the most potent domestic beer you can buy..Bud Ice is approx 5.5 to 5.6% by volume..Ice beers are a little stronger than regular beers..light beers just means calorie contents...and has nothing to do with the alcohol content..There is a 3.2% by volume beer that is made..however not many state have it..Utah does I know that..The military use to have it on their training installations but I don't now if that's true..All imported beer have to comply with the same regulatory requirements that our own domestic beer do..that is why Amstel beer is not sold in the US..you can get Amstel light but not regular beer..European and Asian beers are much stronger than US beers..I probably didn't answer all of what you wanted but I hope this helps somewhat..You can contact the various beer companies and hard Liq. companies and they will provide you more facts..I have done that with various liq.s in the past.. twist off beers will go bad quicker because of air gtting in thus they have a born date on them and it is recommended to discard after 90 days..Non twist off beer like Henie and other imports are hermatically sealed and will last a great deal longer than twist offs..Also most beer in the us are now pasturized thus they don't have to be kept cold all the time..non pasturized beer MUST be kept cold to prevent it from going bad and making you sick...Good Luck
