Illingworth's book "The normal Child" available at major medical book stores is worth reading. It will enlighten u about the normal developmental & behavioral patterns and their variations.

Kids, people go through a lot of stuff...get answers to help yourself cope with the stress of seeing them go through it, but dont expect for them to learn anything from reading it or being told anything from you.
Learning to let go is a hard lesson for parents...but it must be done.

Todays Parent Magazine is great, I subscribe to it and it's worth it! You can check out their website. And they have info for all ages and stages from pregnancy to teenagers.
