just wanna clear a couple of facts up.
Most of you seem to be confused when it comes to the fact that muslim men are given beautiful women in paradise.
let me tell you what islam says:
first of all, intention is extremely important in islam.Everything has to be done for the sake of Allah if the single motivating factor for a man to adhere to islam is the anticipation of the women in paradise that messes with his intention, He has to do what he does for the love of Allah.
If muslims were really that sex crazed as some of you claim- they do not need to adhere to the islamic laws which forbid adultry and fornication in the first place.
You cant deny that men love women so its only reasonable that beautiful women are a boon in pradise.Which man would refuse a woman beautiful ,pure and lawful to him offered to him by god?.Muslim men are human too, they have desires related to women just like anybody else but they control it for the love of god.

Also its not the women of earth who are given to the men of paradise, the women given as a reward for the men in paradise are a special creation of god, they are inhabitants of heaven created just for this purpose. The women of earth who make it to paradise will not have jealousy etc towards this special creation because hearts in paradise are pure and devoid of all ill feeling and besides women will have their own desires to fulfill so their role isnt limited to that of the specially created women of paradise called the hoorulain, whose role is purely to give pleasure to the men of paradise.
Note also that these women-the hoorulain are pure and allah marries them to those who enter paradise and they are content with and love only their husbands.
Also the women of earth who enter paradise may be as beautiful as they wish as Allah states that the human heart shall have whatever it des

Allah allows in paradise whatever a human heart desires be it male or female. Women have rewards 2.

Is it really that confusing? so much so that people take up this subject to ridicule islam making it sound like men are motivated to kill so that they can end up with beautiful women?. Remember, like i said, intention is important in islam, think about it if the women were all you thought about would you practice a life of restraint and finally risk your life in battle ?( for the sake of allah.if the need arises, that is if freedom of worship and safety of muslims is threatened, to overthrow tyranny ).You have to have faith and love for Allah to get to paradise in the first place and in islam this is stressed over and over again.Islam orders good and to keep away from corruption and anything that causes corruption, why not look into it before making serious assumptions? The love of Allah is what motivates the muslims who PRACTICE ISLAM CORRECTLY.

Jazakallah brother mateenhas.
Miss starfish i wish to say that 72 wives are awarded only to those who die in battle, This is because paradise is forever and forever is a very long time and the days and nights in paradise are not like the days and nights of earth the hours are multitudes longer so 72 women is not a big number there, specially as it is also said that one man has the virility of a hundred men in paradise.
plus the boys in paradise arent really from earth they are a special creation and they are not created for sodomy ,they are created to serve the people of paradise-as servants, they are happy as they are because they were created for that purpose and as a servant there, they fare better than those who have all the wealth of this earth. i think your claims are extremely fooloish and misguided because islam strongly opposes sodomy and sodomisers are warned with hell as u know. The hearts of those in heaven are pure-thats why they enter paradise in the first place!

Also of course everything in paradise is beautiful and pleasurable, will it make more sense to you if islam orders a lifetime of devotion to god only to get anything less?. This is reward from god it will be beautiful and all the pleasures described in the quran are described thus to show man that Allah is fair and all his restraint in this world is rewarded in the hereafter and no he cant just think about these delights because like i told you-intention to do everything for Allah and ALLAH ALONE IS IMPORTANT!.

Angel of death-heres what i have to say to you-islam is perfect but those who follow it are not, there are those who follow it well and proper and those who distort it. dont judge islam by just the bad things you see from those who practice it wrong, there is so much good in it that you are refusing to consider and look into, in fact all of it is good. My question here is why so many people are so quick to judge without looking into details?.You cant judge islam by looking at just a part of it, cos that just gives rise to misinterpretation. Trust me as a practising muslim i love and am happy with islam and my practising muslim husband and family-who are from the east by the way, never had to force me into anything , i saw th truth in islam. thats about it.

Miss Jui, i dont think most humans want to end up sexless in the next life. In heavens humans are still humans except that they are immortal and pure and they are in heaven for pleasure. Its idiotic of you to say our god has wives, by the god our god is your god too though you dont believe it. here is what we believe, about god these words are from the quran:
say:"He is Allah the one".
"The self sufficent master whom all creatures need."
"he begets not, nor was he begotten"
"and there is none co-equal or comparable unto him" Q

is that really hard to understand?.This is the basis of our belief and unless you understand this you cant really understand islam.

Differrent strokes for differrent folks.

Some men think only of women and sex, so yea, if they can be a good Muslim and person in this world, they'll get all the sex they want in heaven, with the perpetual virgins.

Others are only content when they 'get' the One who Created the Virgins, nothing short of that.

If all of what you said in you question makes you feel better about the oppression of Muslim women the world over then goody for you. Tell that clap trap you just posted to girls who end up being hanged in Iran for being raped, while their rapist gets a flogging. Although if I were a woman I guess I would consider being hanged a gift when compared to a lifetime in some of these countries, especially certain areas of some of them considering the high level of tribal control and therefore the high variance of laws as to how women will end up treated. In other words I think you're full of it .The fact is that what people can see with their eyes contradicts almost every word you typed. If women are treated well by Muslim men in western countries it's only because the legal systems there would not put up with their garbage. By the way what you posted is a statement not a question,it doesn't become a question just because you put a question mark at the end, but I won't report you for that, have a great day.

I heard a talk show about how muslim men take off on a trip and find new wives. Just how many wives are they allowed? Are they just like the Momon Polygamists that we have in Utah? Why would a muslim man be waiting for a beautiful woman in paradise when he has a wife or wives at home? Is a muslim man not happy with what he already has, or does this only apply to the single men? Also I am taught that religion is to glorify God, not to please the flesh.

Starfish5 who answered, pretty much answered a question I had. Thank you Starfish5!

thats plain compromise.
if your paradise was godly there would be no such thing as different sexes. why is it that in your paradise there is male and female? how does godliness fit in that - thats all human. paradise ought to be a place where human stuff don't exist but rather godliness such as worship and adoration of your god. sex exists on earth to fulfill human desires (but your god has wives? oops).
is there any proof of this paradise? at least christians have proof of heaven.

all the best

Typically you make reference to Women like an afterthought by saying "they get rewards 2." That's pretty much all they get from the bible too, so doesn't that suggest to you that all these religious books were written by men and nothing more.

No, this is a totally wrong concept. The soul in its naked form enters paradise. All the souls that shall enter paradise shall be bodyless & will look the same. Merging of the soul with the ultimate God will happen only after the final dissolution of the universe.

Nice try,but you failed miserably. Your Quran does say that in Jenna the Muslim man gets 72 virgins who will be 90 feet tall, and (not just virgin women) but boys of perpetual freshness, that don't bleed, who will be as pure as pearls to serve you Muslim men. Islam is a sick cult.
According to the Quran Allah is going to pimp out virgin boys, and girls for the Muslim men,and it is going to be non stop booze, and orgies in the Jenna of Islam

"Go, therefore, and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name (NOT THE NAMES) of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit" (St. Matt. 28:20).

Many Christians begin to learn about the Trinity through knowledge of Baptism. This is also a starting point for others in comprehending why the doctrine matters to so many Christians, even though the doctrine itself teaches that the being of God is beyond complete comprehension. The Apostles' Creed and the Nicene Creed are structured around profession of the Trinity, and are solemnly professed by converts to Christianity when they receive baptism, and in the Church's liturgy, particularly when celebrating the Eucharist. One or both of these creeds are often used as brief summations of Christian faith by mainstream denominations.

One God
God is one, and the Godhead a single being: The Hebrew Scriptures lift this one article of faith above others, and surround it with stern warnings against departure from this central issue of faith, and of faithfulness to the covenant God had made with them. "Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God is one LORD" (Deuteronomy 6:4) (the Shema), "Thou shalt have no other gods before me" (Deuteronomy 5:7) and, "Thus saith the LORD the King of Israel and his redeemer the LORD of hosts: I am the first and I am the last; and beside me there is no God." (Isaiah 44:6). Any formulation of an article of faith which does not insist that God is solitary, that divides worship between God and any other, or that imagines God coming into existence rather than being God eternally, is not capable of directing people toward the knowledge of God, according to the trinitarian understanding of the Old Testament. The same insistence is found in the New Testament: "...there is none other God but one" (1 Corinthians 8:4). The "other gods" warned against are therefore not gods at all, but substitutes for God, and so are, according to St. Paul, simply mythological or are demons.

So, in the trinitarian view, the common conception which thinks of the Father and Christ as two separate beings, is incorrect. The central, and crucial affirmation of Christian faith is that there is one savior, God, and one salvation, manifest in Jesus Christ, to which there is access only because of the Holy Spirit. The God of the Old is still the same as the God of the New. In Christianity, it is understood that statements about a solitary god are intended to distinguish the Hebraic understanding from the polytheistic view, which see divine power as shared by several separate beings, beings which can, and do, disagree and have conflicts with each other. The concept of Many comprising One is quite visible in the Gospel of John, chapter 17, verses 20 through 23.

God exists in three persons

The "Shield of the Trinity" or "Scutum Fidei" diagram of traditional Western Christian symbolism. This one God however exists in three persons, or in the Greek hypostases. God has but a single divine nature. Chalcedonians — Catholics, Orthodox, and Protestants — hold that, in addition, the Second Person of the Trinity — God the Son, Jesus — assumed human nature, so that he has two natures (and hence two wills), and is really and fully both true God and true human.

The singleness of God's being and the multiplicity of the Divine Persons together account for the nature of Christian salvation, and disclose the gift of eternal life. "Through the Son we have access to the Father in one Spirit" (Ephesians 2:18). Communion with the Father is the goal of the Christian faith and is eternal life. It is given to humans through the Divine union with humanity in Jesus Christ who, although fully God, died for sinners "in the flesh" to accomplish their redemption, and this forgiveness, restoration, and friendship with God is made accessible through the gift to the Church of the Holy Spirit, who, being God, knows the Divine Essence intimately and leads and empowers the Christian to fulfill the will of God. Thus, this doctrine touches on every aspect of the trinitarian Christian's faith and life; and this explains why it has been so earnestly contended for, throughout Christian history.
