Baptists believe you are saved by the Creator's grace, through Jesus Christ, who is the epitome of a true Christian. You go to church to pray, ask for forgiveness, surround yourself with spiritual people, and most of all, learn the word of God. Church is a sacred place, symbolism that the relationship with God is not of the world. The word is wisdom and the wisdom is with god and is god. People go to church to learn the wisdom that have existed on this Earth for over thousands of years, wisdom that is and with God.

Unfortunately that is a mistaken understanding of Christianity. This concept of 'Instant Salvation' has not been so since chritainity was found by Christ 2000 years, but rather a mistaken inturpratation that was introduced by the founding of the Baptist Church in the last few centuries
That belief you speak of is totally incorrect, for the exact same rhetorical reasoning you gave.
Baptism is meant to be the rebirth and renewal from the corrupt sinful nature to the new pure nature that is equal to that of which we were created with in the very beginning. But it is not an instant "salvation" as you have smartly observed. Salvation is not attained in an instant, but the product of living a long life filled with purity and struggle to reach prefection, through the life-giving sacrifice of Jesus Christ and the sacrements of His Holy Spirit.
Given that we are week and are prone to making mistakes, that is why God gave us the Grace of confession and communion so that would renew that nature back into purity...that is why one should go church and practice a life of prayer and repentance, even after after baptism.
So long story made short, u r correct...the baptist practice of and belief of "instant salvation" is not quite 100%

"Once saved always saved" is usually a perversion of the Biblical doctrine of the "Perseverance of the Saints" which teaches that everyone who is truly saved will, without fail, continue to "persevere" (believe) to the end because God keeps them believing.
"For I am confident of this very thing, that He who began a good work in you will perfect it until the day of Christ Jesus." - Philippians 1:6
A person who professes faith and later renounces the faith (or denies the faith by a sinful lifestyle) was never saved in the first place.
"They went out from us, but they were not really of us; for if they had been of us, they would have remained with us; but they went out, so that it would be shown that they all are not of us." - 1 John 2:19

salvation is a walk with Christ. No man is an island. There is strength in prayer and peace in worship. Everybody worships something, be it Adopf Hitler, the car they drive, their success and things in life, or the one who died on the cross for the sins of this world.
Going to church doesn't make you saved nor does belonging to a country club make you a Pro-Golfer. It is a walk and it is a personal one.

They go to church to continue worship and faith in Him , if you were to ask to be saved and believe u are, then turn around and do crime purposely and stop going to church that would make u a hipocrit. people continue to go to church to love God and praise him. Has nothing to do wth being saved. Worshippin God and showin ur faith makes being saved even better. Being saved is letting Jesus into your life as your savior and believing he is the only way to salvation. So by going to church your showing your loyalty to Jesus and God and is only a small thank you for being saved in the first place.

The Methodists easily have confidence that, as quickly as granted, you are able to no longer lose your salvation. study fairly much something via Wesley and you will see that. Edit: The Methodists have confidence interior the belief of "Prevenient" Grace which basically says that notwithstanding the grace is open for all you are able to prepare it down via freely no longer accepting the be conscious. From the object: "Wesley insisted on prevenient grace as a answer to 2 great issues in Christianity: the belief of unique sin and the Protestant doctrine of salvation via grace on my own. coming up the belief based upon the witness of Scripture, Wesley felt that prevenient grace enabled the doctrines of unique sin and salvation via grace to co-exist on a similar time as nevertheless holding God's sovereignty and holy character to boot as human freedom."

Just in case they're wrong. All christians have a back-up plan - not in case God doesn't exist but in case their unique spin on history is actually ........wrong. At least all christians believe Jesus died for the sins of the world even if they don't all believe in the correct volume of water required to affirm a person's faith.

"Once saved, always saved" is not Biblical. Matt. 24:13 says: "He that has endured TO THE END is the one that will be saved."
