do I feel like the old guy who's never going to get married?

I'm 33, my last ex was 20...and I gave one girl my heart many years ago and I got burned. Since then, I have had a cavalier approach towards dating, which makes me desirable short term, but apparently not long term. I just want to meet ONE girl that I can give my heart to and not feel ashamed.

Marriage is not for everybody, but if you do want to get married, your time will come. Be patient. Don't rush just because everyone else is getting married. It is difficult to be the single one and more so when the children come in the picture. Your friends' priorities will change, and you may feel a little out of places or not.. The point is.. don't feel pressured, don't rush, take your time.. it's your life not your friends. make sure when you decide to get married that you do it for the right reasons. Good Luck!

Doesn't matter what you look like, but how you are.
Are you good?
Are you decent?
Are you nice?
Are you educated?
Do you have a future?
Do you take care of yourself?
Are you selfless?
Are you a gentleman?
Are you mature?
Do you love children?
Do you keep a job?
Are you a player?
Ask yourself these questions and more and then figure out which ones, if any, you need to work on, and then go from there.
Go to good places to meet women. NOT bars, not dance clubs, not place where people go for one night stands, to get drunk, to do drugs, etc. Not potential marriageable poeple come out of those places.
Go to church, join a club, go to school, etc. You'll meet "her" one day, just prepare yourself for her and she'll come when you're ready for her.

Look you may be a good looking guy but you must under stand thigs in genral.1) go out and enjoy your-self and talk to people and ask them things like polatics and whats happening around the world .2) find a female and talk to her and tell her about your-self with out going to far .3) ask her question about her self and what she does in her spair time and trye to get involve with activitys that she does .But in the long run don't rush her or you will skair her off and thats what you don't want is it.good luck!

Hi Dhoti you say not a bad look guy and dated lot of Grails and who not married well have you just try one girl and stay with her them maybe you will be married story that OK

Maybe because you have dated alot of girls instead of giving one special girl the longevity to be in a position to want to marry her. Choose quality over variety and you just might get somewhere.

I wouldn't envy them to much, who is to say they didn't make the mistake. Perhaps their marriages fall apart. Take it a day at a time and don't rush it, just have faith that when and if you do it you will make the right choice and not just rush into something that may fail down the line. If your going to do something, you should do it right.

it will happen when you least expect it to. the harder you try the worse it is. When you stop *trying* is when it will happen!
Also, learn to love yourself and feel complete on your own without thinking that you need another person to 'complete' you.
