I came home last weekend and my wife was up waiting for me to come home again. Her contstant nagging was to much for me and I lightly slapped in the face. I was arrested and released on bail and since have made up to my wife. I feel 911 is my only defense cause if she strikes me I cant hit her back anymore. How do I defend myself without leaving bruises on her? I worry she will attack me knowing that I cannot strike her again. I am curious to know what advice I should take here.

It took me a minute to decide whether or not your question was a serious one or a joke. I would think that your experience with being arrested would be enough for you to understand that hitting your wife will get you arrested. The next time you will not get off easily. The obvious answer to your question is simple, the answer is "NEVER".
By the same token if your wife hits you, she will be arrested.
Sounds to me like both of you need some counseling in anger management. I just hope that you have not involved children in this situation.
Why don't you just get away from each other? This does not sound like a loving relationship to me.

Okay you are an a$$, lets just get that straight up right away. When is it okay to hit your wife??? Uh NEVER. If she is nagging you, could it be you might be doing something wrong??? When she has to constantly wait up for you to come home...you're not with her, your wife, the woman you married and promised to spend the rest of your life with. Dude, it sounds to me like your relationship is on its last legs now. Make plans to move out and get a divorce. You don't want to make this work...because you are asking permission to beat up your wife! Do yourself and her the best favor and control this now by getting out.

You want to know when it's okay to strike your wife in anger? Hmmm. It's okay for you do do that when it is okay with you for some other moron to hit your daughter or your mother. If you want to stay in this marriage, get counseling. Remember, it takes a big MAN to WALK AWAY. Bullies fight. Also, if she is hitting you, keep in mind that men are built different with different muscles. She could be twice as big as you and still be nowhere near as strong. Just walk away. Get a sand bag and hang it in the dining room if you have to and instead of hitting her, beat on that punching bag. It's good exercise as well.

If she hits you, YOU MUST LEAVE THE PREMISES. Why in the hell would you want to stay with someone that will take that advantage and on top of the lose respect for you. At the same time, I can understand why she feels this way.
You should be home woth your wife and care for her during her pregnancy. Tell her how much you love her and that baby, KISS HER BELLY
SHOW YOUR LOVE DUDE.
bELIEVE YOU ME SHE WILL LOVE YOU MORE AND RESPECT YOU. dON'T GIVE HER A REASON TO DOUGBT YOU. Just think of your child

You don't hit a woman. IF she is hitting you then you call 9/11 before you hit her. Let her go to jail for assult. Yep if she is the one doing the hitting they can get her for assult too.
Sound like it's best if you split up. No nagging, no hitting, Plus you can be out as late as you want as often as you want. Sounds like you like go out and coming in late. "Was up waiting for me to come home again".
You hit her cause she was nagging. Not cause she hit you.
Its okay for you to hit her when your probably stronger then her yet now that you know you can't hit her your worried she might hit you.
Your a mean bully who was probably out messing around on her! She called you on it hence the nagging. Instead of admitting the truth you stuck her.
Not nice. Get a divorce and be done with it.

If you dont want to continue the relation then approach the court and get a divorse. But cant find a reason that you can hit your wife. Hitting some one is not fair.

I've got a suggestion for you. Stop making up stories and posting them all over Yahoo Answers.

Go do some homework so hopefully you may find a purpose in life other than being a silly little boy.

A minute ago you got a prostitute pregnant and didn't know how to tell your wife.

Tut tut, shame on you.

It is NEVER ok to hit your wife!! If she hits you first then leave the house asap and call 911 on her!! Thats all you can do but if it's come to this stage in your relationship where you are hitting each other, maybe you are better parting!!

I think you should just walk away from her, this is more annoying that anything a man can do, believe me, if they run away and you havent finished this will irritate the life from her.

Dont hit a woman its just not right, and I know that there are loads of women out there who cant keep their hands to themselves, so you should be the bigger person and laugh, walk away from her.

You are the one that will loose out if you hit her, think about it

If you are that concerned the answer is simple. To defend yourself without leaving brusises on her is easy. Move out and file for divorce. If your marriage has digressed to that state, then you two need to seperate.
